Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage has a wide variety of benefits that are both therapeutic and relaxing. It can reduce stress and provide relief from pain. It is usually applied with oil or lotion in flowing strokes that can improve the body's circulation.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a form of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.
Therapy Massage
Therapy massage is focused on specific problem areas rather than a full massage. It addresses the origin of the problem using a variety of massage techniques in order to help alleviate pain, loosen up stiff muscles, and to help restore functionality.
Head & Foot Massage
Fifteen minutes of Indian Head Massage & forty-five minutes of Foot Reflexology. Very relaxing after being on your feet and working your mind all day.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a more intense form of massage that focuses on relieving tension deep within the muscle using myofacial techniques, active isolated stretching, and trigger point therapy. It is more effective in relieving chronic pain and stress within muscles. As it is a little deeper than a Swedish massage please feel free to speak up if the pressure is too much. It is normal to be somewhat sore after a treatment. Be sure to drink plenty of water afterwards to flush out the toxins.
Warm Rattan Bamboossage
Rattan Bamboossage utilizes soft smooth rattan stalks of various sizes and shapes. These are warmed which feels incredibly relaxing and luxurious on the body. It is wonderful for deep tissue work.
2 Hour Swedish/Deep Tissue With Reflexology Combination
Many of my clients have a difficult time choosing between a reflexology massage or a full body massage and now there is no need to make a choice! You have the option of a Swedish or deep tissue massage to go with your reflexology massage. The massage will begin supine (facing up) working down to the feet with either Swedish or deep tissue for a half hour at which point the reflexology massage will commence for an hour. After the reflexology massage the Swedish or deep tissue massage will continue. Massage Amenities is state certified in reflexology.
